Charlotte, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) Sophomore Alex Young has been tabbed as the Big South Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week, the League announced today.

Winston-Salem, N.C. Sophomore Alex Young used a GWU-record performance to win the men's shot put and added another win in the weight throw event to lead the Runnin' Bulldogs' track & field squads at the season-opening JDL College Kick-Off.

Charlotte, N.C. (BigSouthSports.com) Gardner-Webb's women's track & field squad was tabbed fourth in their Big South Preseason rankings, and the Runnin' Bulldog men were picked to finish fifth in the conference in the men's poll, the League announced.

Earlysville, Va. - Four Gardner-Webb runners competed at the 2013 NCAA Division I Southeast Regional Cross Country Meet held on November 15 and hosted by the University of Virginia.
